5 Steps to a CMS Powered Website

We have 4 basic kinds of website packages to make your choice easy.

Make sure it has the features which we call "Modules" installed to do all the things you want it to do. We have created some common packages that will fit most the clients and with add-on modules you can create whatever you like.

1- General Purpose Websites - These are websites use for just about anything and including day to day business. This is the most popular type of website because it comes with all the basic features of a CMS costing well over $2000. More Info ....

2- Business with Ecommerce Websites - This is the same as the General Purpose website above but includes a shopping cart module for selling products online. We call this one Business because most people that purchase this type of system have products or services to sell and want to take payment online using PayPal or other Credit Card gateways. 3- Community and Chamber Websites - These systems are designed to help organizations that have many members and want to allow their members to share information among each other in a more professional way. It will also have directories for business much like a Yellow Page system to help promote their businesses. All the modules installed are designed to help promote business, sponsors and partners of the site. More Info ....

4- Ecommerce Only Websites - Have you ever seen Amazon.com or some other online store website? These are ecommerce only systems and designed pu rely to just sell products and not much else. You can however add some extra pages with the ZEN based system, but not with the osCommerce based themes so think of this when you look through the designs. More Info ....

You will receive our help on 4 pages of content added to the site for you by our professional content editors from documents sent to us by you in WORD. You can add as many pages as you like on your own at anytime using the WORD like page editor built-in.

Your CMS comes with User Login and Web Based Administration so you can maintain content 24/7 without the need of a webmaster or monthly fees. Now that is worth the money right there!

Select a theme or style to marry to the website system from step 1.

Unlike standard website using Dream Weaver or Front Page and HTML only, a CMS is data base driven and have the ability to change the theme of a site while the content remains intact.

Some themes have a right and left side for content and navigation links while others only have a right or left side only. Top navigation is not controlled by the native system and requires a module installed for special menu control.

Themes come in all kinds of colors, layouts and designs that control the way menus look or even behave when the mouse is move over them.

Basic Website Theme (Style or Look) See theme selection at the DEMO site

Header image - We customize this for you by using your provided image when you select from our base themes. The Header image will change the feel of the website and even the subject. In a basic theme layout the header consists of logo and or graphical design which may or may not include images.

Please provide the image for your header if you select a theme that uses one. If you select a Flash based header design, you must provide the Flash also when we start the customization process.

A better choice would be to use Gif images to produce an animated header if you want to have motion in the header and select a Static based header image design.

Left and Right columns - Will be used for navigation menus and features called Blocks that you can turn on off at will from the control panel.

Center Blocks - Can be placed above and below the body of web content allowing you optional areas to display information much like a newspaper layout.

Center Content Area - is where all pages of content will be displayed when a link is clicked on.

Footer - area is always at the bottom of the website and controlled by the Control Panel. This is where credits and designed by information might be placed. By default we have our link there for future business, but you are not forced to keep it there.

* The logo design is not included, the logo should be sent to us preferably in a common format like jpg, gif, png or bmp. Please make sure you own the right to the images you place on the website or at least use stock photos that you purchase.

* Themes can be changed and you can have more than one theme to a website, but to change or add a theme will cost $25 extra each time and not including the cost of the theme if you use one from another theme provider. Custom designed themes are $200 each and handled by an outside partner that you work with directly.

Take a look at our demo website and test some themes live to get a better understanding of how content and features respond for a specific theme design. I have added all the standard modules and some optional ones for testing. If you need a special module added to the demo system just let me know.

Now that you have placed your website order and the system is being built this is a good time to get a jump on the training by watching the online videos and printing out the 45 page manual to the CMS structure. Remember that BIB does not webmaster your content for you but empowers you to become your own webmaster saving loads on money in the process. This is also the time that you would start sending via email your logo, static images and 4 pages of content in WORD format. These pages should be the Home or Welcome, About Us or BIO, Product and Service pages. Lay them out with the images if you have them, exactly the way you want them added to the site and send to us in WORD 97-2007 format. BIB will also add a general Contact Us form for you to get you started that you can then edit to what you require using the form wizard.

Note: All pages sent will be unformatted to remove the illegal characters that WORD attaches to documents. We will try to make corrections to the placement of images and sentences that were there before, but you might have to edit the pages to your liking when complete. We do have Content Editors that charge $35 a page if you require a webmaster (content editor) to work with you and your content until you learn the system. They are listed here

Once we are finished with your site you will need to schedule some time for basic training so you will NEVER need a webmaster again to make changes to your website. You will also learn more from our training videos and live webinars.

While we are in this first stages of the website build process this would be a good time for you to read over the documents for the new website system. on the platform and watch some videos. We also have a weekly webinar LIVE at 9pm CST on how to use your new system and marketing it also.

Make sure you watch the videos below for control of your administration menu and system of your website before you try to play around in the system or you will be lost. After watching these videos, the short time I have to help you live will not be wasted. The short live overview I give you will not help unless you watch the videos first.

The System is easy to operate and control content.
	All CMS websites come with a content editor that resembles WORD making it easy to add content when ever you like. To see more about the editor you can watch our training video here.

	Creating unlimited feedback forms are a snap by using the included module named "Liaise". Feedback forms can take submitted content and email it to your email account and include attachments too. All the standard elements like drop down boxes, lists, check boxes and more can be included in your forms.

	The event calendar is standard also and used to post events from you or your registered members if you so choose. Add unlimited events with images, hyperlinks and even HTML if you like. Comes with feature blocks like Mini Calendar, Up Coming Events and more.

	An Image Gallery is added to all CMS based websites so you can create unlimited galleries. Equipped with auto resizing, comments, ratings, ecards and downloads.

	To handle documents like that made with Word, PDFs and others that you would like to have for your visitors we include a Download management system. This system works also with music files like mp3 and wavs.

	All good websites need a way to post and display new and articles so we include an Article Management System also. Create multiple categories and unlimited articles with images, attachments and RSS feeding too.

	Manage the way your users register to your website. Control fields, registration steps, permissions and preferences. Your system is WEB2.0 Compliant so you can have unlimited Group Levels, Members and even hide areas of the site from different groups of members.

	The system includes a private messaging system that allows all your members to communicate between each other and you. Complete with an inbox, simple editor and smilies for good old fashion fun in your messages.
